Yialos Beach

Yialos is the easy first swim on Ios: a broad sandy beach beside the port, with generally calm, shallow water and tamarisk shade along parts of the shore. It is an easy walk from the ferry and has cafes, tavernas, sunbeds and places to stay nearby, making it especially convenient for families or a relaxed arrival-day dip.
